This will only be used as a secondary display, and doesnt need to have DVI, as it will be used with my thinkpad. I also have gift certificates to amazon.com and best buy, so buying from there would be nice. In the ~$300 would be nice, too

I was thinking about the samsung 712n from best buy or 710-2 from amazon because of samsung's dead pixel policy. Whats the difference between these displays, and would the be anything better to get?
