looking to spend around $200. i really dig the new Lian Li V1000's.. but do you think there is enough space to mount a dual fan radiator on top? any other cases you recommend?

You can mount a dual rad in any case as long as it fits between the 5 1/4" drives, which is the standard dually 120mm heatercore.

Chieftec and big Lian Li's are good, although almost any case can be used for watercooling. For example I'm getting ready to fit my h20 into my Antec Sonata, cramped but it will all fit. If you want some room get a big file server case or full tower, it will make working with it a lot easier. A removable mobo tray would be nice as well since you don't want to be doing any serious case modding with your mobo still inside.

There is a ton of room in the inwin q500, its fairly cheap, strong steel, room above psu for a large radiator out the back and you could probably fit the pump by an intake. (link1,link2)
