i'm looking for a case, used or unused, that would be the best for customizing. what i want to do (now stay with me i know this might sound a little stupid) is put a 360 in the case, along with a computer with fairly decent graphics (prolly my 9800gtx is going to get rotated into it) and water cool the whole thing. i'd really prefer to keep the entire build internal, but i can understand if my budget means that a radiator will be sticking out, or that all the rads will be sticking out. for this build i will use a m-atx board, the 9800gtx or maybe a 3870, the 5000 out of my main rig, and a cheap am2+ matx board, along with a single 320gb drive and a cd player, 600 watt psu. oh, the watercooling will be cpu & gpu (maybe... will settle for only cpu though) so i was thinking a double rad. would i need to watercool the 360 also since they get really hot by themselves?

i don't really care if it is kinda ugly, just looking primarily for the space to put all that into it.

like i said i would prefer to keep everything inside so i can just have one box for pc and xbox but if not i understand (my bugdet's pretty tight)

i will be buying this case sometime in the next 3-4 weeks.

I'd go with the first one judging just by the fact that it has the word "toast" in the name. :D

Why not keep an eye on full tower cases? Those are probably too small for what you have in mind.

The Centurion 590 is actually quite roomy once you get inside the thing :)

Although if you go with, say, an Antec P180, you can put the 360 in a HDD cage spot ;)

uber, those cases just struck my eye. i'm no longer going to need a very large water cooling setup, i got a great deal on a phase unit so i'm going to be cooling the cpu with that, and only running a loop over the gpu.

artless, you sure about that? is there enough room? i don't want to spend that much money and find out it doesn't fit my needs...

edti: i just looked at the p180 because i was pretty sure i knew which one you were talking about, and while its a great case... it's 130 bucks, and it's got the psu at the bottom, which won't work with the phase unit coming up from the bottom. i could side mount it, but that would make it really bulky and ugly.... any more ideas?

bump?

anyone want to help?

i've been looking at these two cases:

the first one wouldn't be great, i know that, but it does appeal to me because of it's design... i'm only going to need a single loop for my gpu as the cpu will be cooled by phase now so i'm thinking it wouldn't be terribad...
Can you even put a CD-ROM in that first one?

Yes, you install it behind the front panel vertically and the tray comes up vertically and fills the silver area on the front panel... like a toaster, as the name suggests. Took me a minute to figure it out just looking at the pictures though...lol.

i know it caught me off guard when i saw it... but yeah, that's how it works. i think it's pretty neat. anyway, my rig right now doesn't have a cd drive, and it's doing fine.

i would look at the mini towers, but i need something to fit a full atx board..

That first case has gotta be the ugliest thing I've seen in a while... Unless you paint Sauron's eye in the front, then it'd be cool. :D
