Best case for under $50?

Im partial to solid black squared cases, no goofy lights or gaudy designs.. Just a straight up black box.. a side window is always a plus.

I like gigabyte cases, because the design is simplistic and black. I saw that this particular model had front side ventilation which is very important. It also had firewire, usb, etc ports. I have an OCZ ModXStream 500W PSU, a XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850 1GB graphics card, i want to use an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 on it.. just wanted to know if all that is going to fit.. Two hard drives, etc

is a solid choice. Allows for up to three 120mm fan intakes, already has a top 140mm exhaust and a rear 120mm exhaust. Oh, and there's a SATA "hot-swap" bay, too.

I like that 200, never seen it before. If you want to just spend a little more get the Antec 300, best budget case you can get IMO.

Also, watch for and exploit free shipping deals from newegg - patience may be required for that. Shipping on that Gigabyte case increases the cost from $39 to $56, while the Antec 200 case has a free shipping deal so it stays at $50. The Antec 300 case at newegg is $55, but shipping increases cost to $70.

Also check buy.com - they have lots of free shipping deals (which matters on heavy items like cases and PSUs), and they happen to have the Antec 300 for $60.62 with free shipping.

Great case for the price, imho. I've used it for several budget builds and it's a pleasure to work with. No window though, but meh, I hate windowed cases.

You could try the cm gladiator one of cooler master new cases it gives alot of upgrade for air cooling if you need up to 5 fans i believe 1 front 1 rear 2 side 1 top. Hm it almost like a cm590-690 which are both good cases + the gladiator is free shipping.
