I was in the process of getting the 6800 OC for $299.00. I saw it at outpost.com for $249.00, but it was out of stock, actually call for availibility. I'm wanting the 6800 model perferably, what models of the 6800 can i find for around $300? I have my mind on the OC, how much are the GT and ultra?

On the new system that i'm building, i only need a psu, upgraded memory, video card. Would it be smart to buy the psu, memory first, then wait a few weeks and get the video card? I know some of the prices of these cards may be dropping within the weeks. What do you guys recommend, i'm thinking i should go ahead and buy the video card last.

Here are a few suggestions (I'm assuming AGP):

1 - 128MB PNY 6800nu on black friday ($230 - $30 MIR)
2 - Wait for 6600GT AGPs to become more available (~$200)
3 - 256MB x800 Pro - $330 (outpost.com)

Since you're willing to pay ~300 I'd say kick it up just a tad and get the x800 Pro so you get double the memory and the faster chipset.

The x800pro, if you can get it for ~$300 sounds good, but if the 6800 GT's get around that price i'd say GT all the way.
