I'm unsure if this is the right sub-forum, but if it isn't please move this mod.

What is the best software for burning cd's, burning dvd's, burning blu-ray, etc, etc?

Thanks! :D

Edit: I'm using nero currently

imgburn is my long-time favorite. Does everything. Simple and easy to use.

Just make sure to uncheck anything regarding "Ask.com" in the installer if you don't like them ;) there's two relevant checkboxes there IIRC.

Another vote for ImgBurn. It'll do just about everything you need a burning program to do, moreso than Nero in my experience. Even though its freeware make sure to send a few bucks the authors way so it stays in development.

I don't like any of them. Imgburn can't copy a CD in a single step, while CDBurnXP can't make more than one copy of a CD at a time. Afterburner will do both, but it still can't make a copy using more than one output drive at once.

It really seems like CD burning software has regressed in functionality over time.

...as long as you don't want to make a multisession disc. What I don't get is the authour's stance on it. He pretty much says 'it would be easy to do, but I'm not going to do it, because I don't believe in multisession'. I know it's his software and he can feature it as he wishes, but that doesn't stop him from sounding like a douche.

I use imgburn or CDBurnerXP for most things. Obviously I need to use the latter if I want multisession.
