I am looking a non-overclocking setup for Core 2 Duo setup.

cheap setup but no vcore support but since you don't plan to overclock it doesn't matter...

but really...no overclock? :p
 
If you're on that tight of a budget, personally I would buy one 1GB stick of DDR2 for now and put the extra $50-60 toward a higher end motherboard. Later on you will thank yourself.

The most headaches you get out of any build are typically with the motherboard.
