Ok, first, the set up. Dual 2500+ Bartons, 9600 AIW, 2 gig RAM, displaying on an LCD projector. The one thing I am not happy with is my audio. The mobo I have uses a built in AC'97 codec. Ick. What is the best audio option out on the market today? Price is not a concern. I have a very nice home theater system that is THX certified so 7.1 channels and I want the computer audio to be able to put out to the theater system, for DVD, games and what not. Thanks in advance.

Audiotrack Prodigy 7.1. Or the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 Considering your GPU, I would not recommend an Audigy 2 ZS; but if games are a concern, that may well help you out.

Oh, connect all of these through the analog connectors, and let the APU's do the decoding/DA conversions.
