What is the best and biggest LCD display 16:9 aspect ratio or XX:10 Available?
I have a Westinghouse 37" - to me this size is the sweet spot... but it doesn't seem like manufacturers are trying to go past 30" widescreen

yes I am aware of the NEC curved monitor... that counts as an option, however it is $8,000 or something crazy like that.

30" is the best and biggest due to bandwidth limitations. 2560x1600 @ 60hz is still the most a card can drive, which is why manufacturers haven't gone past 30". Once you exceed that, you are into TV land where you are stuck with 1920x1080 and the pixels just keep getting bigger and bigger, completely negating the benefits of a larger size to begin with. Whats the point of a 37" 1080p TV for a desktop when you have to sit far back from it? It ends up occupying the same visible space as, say, a 24" that you can sit close to.

Now if you don't care about pixel density and just want big, get a projector.

Barco LC-5621 (there are also similar models by other companies.. but can't remember the name)

.. I remembered a price of about 20000 (special offer some time ago).. but the price I found online was around 40000..

Any LCD based on CMO's 56" 2160p panel ... quite a few companies do these models, if you shop around, you can get them fairly cheap - still quite costly compared to normal LCD's. And you need dual dual-link DVI outputs to run the monitor ( so it's 1920x2160 + 1920 x 2160 ) ie you need workstation cards

No you don't. As far as I know *all* modern dual-dvi cards are dual dual-link DVI. Certainly the cards actually worth getting are.
