Best aluminum cpu block

First of all this won't be in a loop with copper so don't whine.

This will be paired with the antec 200mm radiator. Also how long will it take for a nickel plated koolance 350 cpu block to corrode with the aluminum radiator? If it doesn't corrode I will get this one. But in your opinion whats the best aluminum block?

i would think the 350 would corrode even with the nickel, and i think that zalman makes blocks out of aluminum(not sure the blocks might be mixed metals)

The nickel plating is not there to stop corrosion, just look at what happened with the GTZ and their "mil-spec" plating. Bottom line, don't expect any plating to stop corrosion because the smallest flaw or nick in the plating makes it completely non-functional.

As for an aluminum block, there aren't many almost all have moved over to copper. You are probably going to have to get an old one used somewhere.

Just isolate the radiator electrically from the case, and use a 10% glycol solution (antifreeze). You won't need to worry about corrosion at all with a copper block.

It is likely that the tubing in the Antec is copper, and the fins Al. Maybe not. Let's wait and see what it turns out to be before going crazy on it.
