best air cooler?

hey guys, i am new to this forum.

i simply have the problem that my 3000+ xp amd cpu becomes to hot @ 3200 now in summer. cant play doom3 due to heat crashes. :(

i only have a simple air flow cooler on it, now what is the best air cooler i can buy , it would be best if it is a cooler i can buy in europe.

If it won't play a game, you need to check out ambient temps or maybe reseat the HS. There is no reason why that shouldn't run a game, even under stock cooling.
 
Any computer at stock configuration should stay stable at 90-100 degree room temperatures. If it doesn't you need to figure out what's wong with the setup. It could be an improperly installed heatsink, too much/little thermal compound, or your case may have terrible airflow.

Also, it could be your video card crashing due to heat. Check the heatsink, fan, and how the airflow is around your vid card also.
 
i am pretty sure its my cpu heatsink, i also have a usually room ventilator next to my case, which is open all the time now in sommer, how much room tempature i have....no idea but its quiet warm, maybe 30-35 celsius.
and the graphicscard is not a suspect in my eyes.

jeez cant you just make me some suggestions which heatsink could be the best in the world? ;)
 
for amd I'd recommend a thermalright SP-97 with a nice enermax 92mm fan :)
