what is my best option for a high end ati agp card? i dont want to spend more than $250-300????? i play half life, thats basically it.
 
for 250-300.....ur best bet is to get a 6800NU....IF, and IF you can find a x800pro or maybe even a 6800gt for 300-320..I'd grab that..but a 6800NU is a badass card so yeah thats my recommendation

Haha, well good luck then finding a nice ATI card for that price range (maybe used). What's with gpu !!!!!!s? A graphics card is a graphics card.

Exactly.

I didn't notice the ATi request when I posted...you're pretty much stuck with the 9800 pro in that price range...which is a good card, but no match for Nvidia cards in the $250-300 price range.
