xp-120 and zalman cu was what I have in my wish list atm. 6 more days and it will be mine! :D Price and noise aren't an issue. My roomates computer sound like jet turbines. Don't want watercooling cuz I want this to last for a while and radiators scare the shit out of me.
 
Why do rads scare the bejebus out of you? Did you have a bad encounter with a Mac truck? Still have the rad scars accross your face? hehe j/k.

Watercooling is fun and great... try it. Besides the rad is the least you have to worry about in the setup. Water is what you need to be careful with.
 
well I just dont want them to go out after a year. I like the fact that fans usually last 4-5 years whereas radiators can only take so much...I dunno. I was really going to go for water but I really dont want the thing to go out after a year of beautiful ocing. What's the best water cooling unit for an x2 3800 asus a8n sli premium? Damnit. :D
 
What do you mean the rad goes out after just a couple of years? The rad would possible be the one part of a watercooling system to last the longest because it has not movings parts. It's a radiator. Maybe you mean the pump.

Anyway, a well maintained watercooling system can last you years. Todays pumps can last well over 50,000 hours. It's just like a car... if you take it in for it's regular checkup, it will last you a long time.

Custom builds are the best performers typically. And radiators dont go out they have 0 moving parts as stated before. The thing most likely to fail is the pump after its lifespan is up but with proper maintenance you can take down your system and install a new pump in very little time.
