I keep seeing this arctic cooling VGA silencer talked about, where can you buy it? And is there anything better? I remember people getting this big huge heatsink that like wrapped around the card.

Also does it come with any way to cool the ram? If not what ramsinks work with it because I heard it blocks tall ones from fitting properly

Lastly what do you use to attach the ramsinks/ silencer to the card? Is it a perm. solution or can you take them off later?

thanks!

The VGA Silencer can probably be found at sites like www.svc.com , or www.coolerguys.com , or www.frozencpu.com . As for the big huge heatsink that like wrapped around the card that you are asking about......it is the Zalman Heat Pipe, there are 2 models....the ZM80A-HP and the ZM80C-HP, that I am aware of.....the ZM80C-HP has a fan option available. Both heat pipes can probably be purchased at the same web sites. I honestly do not know if either would be in the way of ram sinks, and to answer your final question.....ram sinks are usually attached with thermal adhesive. Arctic Silver makes one of the best thermal adhesives out there and that too can be purchased at any of the sites listed above......or hundreds of other sites as well.
