best <60$ cooler?

VenX is great, although not worth the upgrade if you're coming from a Cogage TRUE Spirit (as I found out). Still was a fun cooler to play around with though.

Cogage Arrow on the otherhand, now that was an upgrade!
 
VenoX is a good bet, especially since you're getting the AMD mount and a fan with that. Plus the fan holder looks really good IMO.
 
...but with the h50 for 60$ shipped at TD right now, might just have to go for that...

i just clicked on this thread to suggest that. :D

my bro who has avoided watercooling for all time(not sure how i convinced him to try the h50)... he said it was hella easy to install and its been working great.
 
Venomous X totally, or if you have mounting points for older hardware, revision 3 Thermalright 120 is basically the same thing and I've seen them for $40. You can also find H50s for under $60 on sale.

I have to second the motion on the Cogage TRUE. I was able to safely OC my i7 920s to 4.0 without melting anything. if you need it cheap, get a cogage and spend the extra dollars on top tier thermal paste. just cause you get a great cooler doesn't mean it'll do a damn thing if the heat doesn't conduct very well. hell a six year old with a good set of lungs might do a better job than a cooler without good mounting and paste.
