Why?

Well, I've been running a 5850 since the 9.12's and had all the usual 5800 series hassles.

I've tried pretty much ever driver there is (I stick with a set for a few weeks to test it properly).

In fact, I wholeheartedly recommend this driver set to just about an SINGLE DISPLAY ATI user. (3/4/5000 series etc.)

Yep, I've also stuck to the 10.4a's. Just read of too many problems with the more recent ones.
