Lol. Looks good. Looks expensive.

I wish they stop with the "5.1 Headphones" crap...

[43st]

clueless consumer + 5.1 insert buzzword = $$$

[450]

Heh I was expecting the Sennheiser Surrounder. I always wish I bought that set....

[spaceman]

surrounder worked but man alive was it ugly.

Anyway, I know a member here got the beyer surround. Have not heard back yet about it. I suppose it is good b/c I recommended it to him and I am sure I would have gotten an earful if it sucked lol.

He had to have surround and headphones without regard to cost so......

i dont see anywhere thats its a 5.1 system. it seems to be 2 speakers and a decoder/mixer, along with a position sensor in the headphones

[Calpis]

Okay, I gotta admit that head tracking + headphones is pretty damn cool.

[beso323]

man.. this kills the meaning of the number 5.1..

[kool bubba ice]

IT's state of the art 5.1 DSP.. Studio quality and head tracking.. 2 Channel Headphone based off the DT880.. Expensive? 2,500. But, hey, cutting edge tecnology is never cheap. They have a gamer version as well. So people who think it's just another sorry gaming 5.1 headset are Wrong.. Beyers been making headphones since 1937.. And head tracking is the shit..

[spaceman]

Yeah it has been verified that the head tracking is for real. I wish I could remeber who got them....HE said he would hit me up when he got them.

Now only if games were recorded biaurally.. There would be no need for speakers.
