It's holiday time, so you know what that means. A little gift-giving to myself...

I know a lot of you are picking up 23 in. LCD's left and right, so now you can share your thoughts, experiences, and opinions.

Basically, I need something that supports 1920x1200, has no more than a 16ms response time (I have a low tolerance for ghosting), and isn't more than, oh, say $1,800.

I like the HP 23 too, but I like the Samsung 24" a lot better. Having seen and used both I lean very much toward the Samsung.

Hasn't the samsung got a 25ms response time though? how does it fair for gaming? I'm so annoyed by your silly american prices, here in the UK that sony equates to $2600 US
