Hi.
I'm looking for the largest 4:3 lcd for video editing . I think they don't grow bigger then 21.3.
I like the Viewsonic vp211B ($1100) and Nec lcd 2180ux ($1300). Not much info about them in this forum. Any suggestions? Are they better than Samsung 213T? My budget is
around $1400. I need personal opinion, not specs. Thanks.

The 213T is the best right now, seen them as low as $799 at Compusa with the rebate. But...you might want to wait a month or two; Samsung is about to release a 16ms 20.1" display.

samsung is making a 20.1" 16ms? thats nice however personally i dont care =/
im looking for a larger screen myself like the original poster, and im more concerned with IQ and size than i am with fast response time..dont get me wrong i play a decent amount of games but id like a screen that's a bit larger b/c im not some 'pro gamer' that plays all the insanely fast FPS games. anyways thanks for the heads up

I've had my 213t for a year now, and still love it. It had 1 dead subpixel out of the box, and hasn't developed any more. Text is big and beautiful (very crisp), it is good enough for games (you have to look for ghosting, it's not really noticeable most of the time while playing), and I use it for movies/TV (my TV is only 19"). I also take it to a LAN every month or so. I've never had a problem with it.

i always play doom 3 on my 213t and i have absolutely no problem with ghosting, its also awesome for movies and everything else
