Im currently after a new IDE storage disk, I know i shoud be buying sata, but the way i figure it, its just for mp3s, vids etc, so the extra speed of sata doesnt make any difference, that and i dont want to upgrade my rig yet.

So basically, i have a choice between the 200GB versions of either the WD Caviar, or the Maxtor Diamond Max 10. Ive heard good things about both, but only seen reviews of the 16mb diamond max 10s, and the 200GB version, is of course only 8mb cache. Basically im just after any input, or suggestions for other disks in a similar price range. I was really after a 250GB Deskstar, but at around 170% of the price of either of the other 2 i cant really justify it.
