Hello, what's the best 15" TFT? When I used a 15" TFT at school it was as if it was same size as my 17" CRT at home

I don't know what the best 15" monitor is, the market has moved to bigger monitors. All I ever hear about is 17" and ups.

What you noticed about the size of the monitors is one of the big selling points of lcds. They are measured by viewable screen size, not cabinet size. So a 15" lcd is similar to a 17" crt, 17"->19" etc etc.

The best ones are definitely those from CMV, the 520D is 16ms, 500:1, 350nits (i think) and costs $170 shipped from memorylabs. The 529A has the same specs but its vga only.

A very good monitor for the price, I have used several of them so far and the quality is very good. I put the panels in my DIY LCD projectors :D
