I stoopdly took apart my $1000 Laptop and bent pins on the cpu. Is there somewhere I can send it to not warenty to unbend them as Im no good with little things

Well most service centers won't accept the notebook in pieces for warranty work. Neither will the manufactueres.

So you better get something to unbend those pins. Be gentle, or you will have an expensive part to replace.

Why would you even take a notebook apart?

bust out the mechanical pencil :D how many pics are bent?

I keep a .5mm mech pencil here just for unbending pins. Works like a charm.

Why oh why if you aren't good with "little things" did you take apart your laptop? Curiousity killed the cat you know - or in your case maybe the processor. Be very careful bending those pins back - they are easily snapped off.

The P4 2.4C in my comp flew out of the blister packaging when I opened it and several pints were bent. I used a small pair of tweezers and the edge of a card to straighten them out. Installed the CPU and it's been running fine ever since (for over 9 months).

Straighten out the pins with some vice-grips ;)

My friend put on his P4 the 'wrong way' onto the motherboard and bent a lot of pins. It took me 2 hours to make them perfectly straight, and his computer runs fine to this day. Just be VERY delicate!!
