Hi

I want to buy a new 27 " monitor and i hear so much good about this Benq XL2730
But i also heard it was thios freewiev or free sync or what its called..and its ONLY for AMD
and i have a nvidia 970 so is it worth for me to buy this monitor ?

And no i wont buy amd gfx card ever cuz i like nvidia so no argue about that :)

Freesync won't work with Nvidia. you need a Gsync Monitor. And yes that monitor is great I have it.
You can use the monitor without Freesync... But you're missing out.

You can use it in the strobing mode, but you won't be able to use the Freesync one.

Keep in mind any G-Sync monitor has the ULMB mode which does the same thing. May be worth getting a monitor like the S2716DG with G-Sync for almost the same price if you're not exclusively playing 144+fps games like CSGO.

FreeSync is going to become such a common place name that, to keep options open, I'd ignore the words "FreeSync" altogether. Yes, you can't use it on nVidia GPUs, but they are eventually going to a point where if it isn't G-Sync, it's FreeSync, so Id treat FreeSync monitors the same as Syncless ones (especially considering that some FreeSync monitors do not have any Syncless versions, EG 1440p/144hz or 21:9 75/100hz monitors).
