Hello!

So this is only noticeable when I have brightness down to 0% on the monitor and further w/ Desktop Lighter:

But would any of you mind lowering your brightness down to 0% and snapping a photo of the following page? Also, it'd be great if you could download and run Desktop Lighter too. Just lower the brightness all the way down to 0% there.

It seems to show the problem best.

I have just a few days left and am trying to decide whether or not RMA would help my issue or if it's just the way it's going to be. Thanks!

That's what I'm thinking. It seems much worse than another TN I had been using. But that one was only 17 inches, 4:3, and in a well lit environment.

Not sure what you mean about the background being gradient? It's 2 different shades, if that helps. The site is overclock.net.

Anyway, a fellow on that site posted this:

So I'm thinking that's just the way it's going to be w/ this monitor. It's the only non PWM 144hz display that I know of aside from the Z version that just released...for $200 more. And that one probably has the same TN panel w/ the same issues.

I'll most likely just keep this and wait for something definitively better in the future.

5/10 for browsing/desktop work, but 12/10 for BF4, lol!

My Samsung PX2370 (TN) has the same affect (darker towards top) It's not that obvious on my screen but its there, i'm guessing taking a photo of the screen exaggerated the effect.

Sure does. Feel free man.

1. Set monitor brightness down to 0%.
2. Use smartphone camera, lol!

I'm sure it would have looked less nasty had we used regular cameras. All I got is my Galaxy Note 2 though.

Here ya go, one crappy smartphone pic.
Monitor brightness was at 0%.
