Hi all people, I saw in a local store a open box BenQ XL2420T I know its far behind the XL2420TE and the newer XL2420Z but the guy in charge its a friend of mine that are willing me to buy it for 199$. which I think it really worth for my brother or even my secondary machine, what do you think guys? any advice about this panel? i've never used a BenQ Panel, and i don't know really too much more of what people say in the forums..
 
i thought the same, have you any info about that panel?.
 
That model came out in 2 revisions, 1 does 120Hz the other does 144Hz, either way they are Lightboost monitors and they are excellent for gaming. They don't have incredible colors for photoshop work, but that's not what they are for. The motion blur reduction offered by Lightboost displays like the XL2420T is an incredible spectacle. For $199 I wouldn't think twice, unless it has some sort of damage or pixel issues.
 
thanks, i've ordered it by phone with my friend, i'll go to get it right now.. the panel its fine just open box because was the exhibition model it wasn't even powered on... :) so its good.. this its the 1st revision the 120hz one.. i would test it in a couple of hours..
 
updating i have the panel i've been using it for like 3-4 hours, man this its a good piece of hardware.. im really pleased with it, to the limit of replace my actual LG IPS234V colors are much better of what i would really expected for a TN panel being honest aren't as great as my LG or my Asus PA248 but are really good, gaming its in another league now at 120hz..
