Hi
I am a new owner of the Benq FP241w monitor and i like so much that i am considering swapping it for FP241WZ because mine is without the 1:1 firmware and i would like to be able to play games without them being stretched out of proportion but then again today i got it set up with perfect colours, with my eyes only. Right now i am writing on a perfect white background and it took me four long days of adjusting to get there and it would be a
shame to waste all that by sending the monitor back.
Someone please help med decide.!
A few days ago i found a Chinese review of the FP241WZ and in that review i saw a picture of the factory menu from FP241WZ and the text also described how to get into the
factory menu but the Google translation from Chinese to English was so crappy that it was very difficult to understand it but after some time i found the combination.
Before i tell you how to get into the menu, i would ask everybody to be very carefull and don't change anything if you don't know what it is or if you are not shure what you are doing. If you are changing something in there always remember to write down the setting before you are changing it. Believe me, when you have played around in there for some time you don't remember what the settings were before you changed them. This was just a freindly reminder and here comes the combination.
First turn off the monitor, then press power, menu and input buttons simultaneously and hold the buttons down until the monitor have a picture. When the monitor is turned on you just press the 'arrow down' button and the factory menu opens.
I hope that someone find my information usefull.
