I'm very close to ordering a BL2710PT, but I have never owned a BenQ before. Should I be concerned that they don't have a zero dead pixel warranty like Dell/HP/Asus? I was thinking of ordering directly from BenQ and they have a 30 day return or exchange policy for any reason.

Do I need to worry about more dead pixels showing up after the first 30 days?

Also has anyone had any experience with BenQ's warranty support in North America?

Dell's "Premium Panel Guarantee" is a huge misconception circulating around forums. You're guaranteed a zero bright pixel policy, not dead pixel policy. They only let you return if you have 6 dead (dark) pixels or more. That's pretty standard among manufacturers and nothing to write home about.

According to OP, BenQ has the exact same thing, only it's longer than Dell's.

Also, in my country, you get a "total satisfaction guarantee" on any product up to 7 days after purchase and 14 days if you bought online. I understand many countries have the same.

According to BenQ's USA store it has 30-day return/exchange policy if I'm dissatisfied for any reason. Should I not worry about more bright pixels showing up after the first 30 days? I think the rest of the warranty is pretty standard 3-year monitor warranty.
