Im buying some AC Ryan mesh for a mod project im working on right now. Part of what I want to do is to replace the drive bay covers with mesh, how would I go about bending the mesh without screwing it up? Is there an easy way to get a 90* angle on the bend? Im not sure my wording is quite right here, sorry

If you have a harbor freight nearby, and plan on doing more than one or two, I'd suggest going and getting a sheet metal (bending) brake, like this one:

For $25, I think it would be well worth the expense, and would give you the excuse of doing more metal bending projects in the future!
Other than that, either a couple pieces of steel (angle iron works best), and some clamps works well in a pinch (you'd need one length for the long side of the bay cover, and another length for the short side). Your only other easy choice is to get some sheet metal fabricator vicegrips, like the top ones in this picture. It takes a bit more patience, but they work.

yeah it does, but under the circumstances i cant buy it. its part of a cheap mod competition between some friends and i. we have $100 dollars (each) and a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811145046. Were given a window kit as well. I dont think Id be allowed to buy that right now with my own cash because it would give me an edge even though theyd be able to use it, they all opted out of the mesh.
Im going white case, red mesh. Most of the lights will be red led but I will have two UV cold cathodes because im painting the inside of the case with http://www.frozencpu.com/products/3855/uvp-02/Clearneon_UV_Reactive_Clear_Coat_Paint_-_Red.html. I also plan on replacing the drive bays with red meshing. Hopefully itll come out well. Ill try and keep pictures up while I go. This is my first mod project so Im hoping I dont screw up too bad.

Can I suggest you paint some thick diagonal red racing stripes on the side panel?
I have to admit I'm a bit leery about you putting red UV reactive paint on the inside. Different shades of red tend to clash, and there's a very good chance the red on the outside won't match the red on the inside. Oh well, I guess we'll find out...

Regardless of color clashing, I had some MNPC tech mesh to bend and I needed to add edges. So, I went and found an old piece of 1x1 wood, cut two pieces of each length, and clamped them with c clamps. Using a hammer, I very carefully bent the edges over evenly at the edge of the wood block until they were 90 degrees. Then undo the clamps and move to the next edge! Free and easy way to get some pretty good bends on the mesh. Hope that helps.
