I have seen a lot of benchmarks comparing the high end of the conroe line, but what about the lower ends? I am trying to decide what proc to buy, and do not have $500+, or maybe even then $315ish to buy the E6600, and I want to know what kind of performance I can expect from the various other clockspeeds. Sure, I guess in soem cases I could get an extimate, but hard resuls are more well, hard :)

There's been a couple of previous previews with the E6300/E6400 in them:

http://www.behardware.com/articles/623-12/intel-core-2-duo-test.html
http://www.matbe.com/articles/lire/306/merom-et-conroe-test-des-core-2-duo/page6.php (French)

The E6300 competes with the 4400+-4800+, while the E6400 is pretty close to the FX-62.
