What do people set their graphics performance and quality settings at for benchmarking? I read to turn off V sync, but what about besides that, are there standard settings?

It is an unspoken truth that when benchmarking most people will turn 'performance' settings to high and 'quality' settings to low. This way they get the highest score possible.

im an honest person and wouldnt do that...but since other peeps are doing it why not.
never thought about doing it cuz i just assumed other people would just leave everything default
