Benchmarking progs

Anyone else think of "Dazed&Confused" when you see daveisconfused posts? :(
 
well... no, I've seen his name a lot, never thought of that.

But anyway, I use 3dmark03 to test changes in my graphics card. but don't use it to compare to other people's system... seems like there are ways that the big players like to cheat the score a little bit.

holy crap, I just realized I got over a 100Mhz overclock on the memory on my vid card, lol. (I'm still excited about my 1st OC:p )

you can download fraps www.fraps.com to see your framerate and record the framerate while you are gaming to see your min/avg/max fps
 
hey... does the fully functional free version of fraps also have the frame rate feature? Or is that just the 2.0.0 demo?
