The only thing about nVidia OmegaDrivers is they're out of date. The newest version is 66.93, and while these drivers performed noticeably better than the official release of 66.93, the 7x.xx and 8x.xx drivers will result in superior performance.

i second the sticky, thanks for the list.

I second that, we need a clear set out software list for benchmarking/overclocking to compare results.

I would recomend to add The A64 Tweaker for Ocing tools. Also how about for game benchmarks the fear bench as its probably right now the most grueling and also include FRAPS for game benching. For ID tools about the most comonly used is CPUZ as well. All the stuff i mentioned are used by lots of Overclockers and reviwers.

Not sure why I hadn't stopped in sooner to say thx...but this is a nice list you've got goin' bro. Not that I really need it personally, having everything fricken memorized by now (what I need for what)...but it's nice to have a collection of links for quicker reference.

580mb for PcMark??

Why is the file so big?

Is there anything smaller. I just want to know what the performance difference is between these two scenarios:

AMD 64 3200+ @ 2.0ghz
1gig pc3200 ddr

&

AMD 64 3200+ @ 2.2ghz
1gig pc2700 ddr

Thanks - Aratech

Lol i got banned, PM a mod to Edit it....

Good job :p.

Someone should add Windows Memtest to the list for sure because its the best stress test for the memory. It works much better then Memtest86 and you can run it from within Windows.

I was just told this by someone

"the next version of 3d mark will use your normal clock speeds, regardless of whether you overclock"

this can't be true... can it?
