Benchmark chaos......

I've looked at a few different sites today to see benchmarks for the new ATI cards. Some sites seem to show ATI in the lead with their lastest X1800XT card when others show that the 7800GTX is leading. What gives? I don't think you can truely test a video card and be subjective. Everyone's test machines are different so there are to many variables in the tests are a different across tests. I've done testing and stats before and it just doesn't seem a true test. Just my outlook on the matter.

Yeah it's all over the map. I think we won't know for another month or two when the 512mb nvidias are out and ATi has ramped up their drivers to know one way or the other who wins this round.

Just read the HardOCP review it has playable settings and they do the best job anyway. I also think HardOCP is most trust worthy.
