anybody works at bellsouth in the dsl department..

i have been trying over a year to get bellsouth dsl.
cable is not offer where live.

i have neigbhors all already me who have dsl and they saying i am not able to get it..WTF??

It is possible for your neighbors to be eligible but not you due to several reasons. One being that the telephone wires running to your house don't meet certain specifications because they are old. Several other reasons exist. If you want the real answer you should call Bellsouth as nobody here will be able to tell you why you specifically are not eligible.

Same with Quest. They sent and billed me about $70.00 for the modem, I ripped it all open, set it up... no go. Spent around three days calling the phone support before they actually sent someone out here, to confirm that DSL really isnt avalible here. Hopefully they wont charge me when I mail this thing back, since I dont have the "original packaging".

At least corvad came out and checked it, and all I did was poke in my name and address on their website .
