Hey.


I'm going to be doing some limited recording at home and I am looking for a decent not too expensive studio mic and preamp that will allow me to record onto my computer.

I have done some research and everyone seems to reccomend the Studio Projects C1 for bang for the buck as far as mics go. (Some even claim it sounds as well as a Neumann U87, but at $200)

As far as digital pre-amps go, I have been reccomended to get the M-Audio Duo for my purposes.

You guys have any input on this? Anything else I should consider in this price range before I make up my mind?
