I'd much rather have say, 30 lbs of steak (or 80lbs of hamburger, for that matter) than 7 liters of jack daniels.

On the same note.. I'd rather drink jack daniels than beer.
Beer is for pansy ass losers who have no taste, or class. All beer tastes like crap.

Correction: We are a country of free people. And if we choose to drink beer, then we have that right. Consequences are what may or may not hurt us, not the beer itself.

You have a right to buy 30lbs of steak instead of JD. It's your free choice to do so. But the consequences in that are still there. Eat it all at once, and you may or may not be facing serious health risks.

You have the right to decide that JD is better than beer. Just as others have the right to say beer is better than JD. For me, most American beer tastes like crap, so if it's on sale and cheap, I don't care what brand it is. I grew up in Germany (army brat), so I feel I know what good beer tastes like. And I don't expect others to agree with me, because they have the freedom and the right not to.

Great deal, I can't exactly buy any though .. ahem.

Oh also, there's a great deal at my local Kroger, Caguama cervesa, 12 oz cans, 30 for 12.99. I think it tastes similar, if not better than bud or corona.

Perish the thought, but, maybe it's time to invest that $35 into, say.. water, or milk, or something that you can drink that is actually good for you, your body, and you cognitive processes.

I think that you meant 'your cognitive processes' - and I have a theory about alcohol and its ralation to killing brain cells.

If you believe that the strongest survive, you have to say that drinking makes you smarter. Only the weakest, slowest brain cells would succomb to being killed by alcohol, leaving a much more effecient brain for learning new concepts.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when someone comes into a thread and says "beer tastes like crap, and you are a moron for liking it" I feel I have the right to defend that.

I would report them because thats insane and a case of Miller lite is 25 bucks. The thing is i'm only 20 (well i'll be 20 in November). You have to drive an hour away to get decent prices and after driving an hour the price isn't that decent anymore after gas prices lately.
