Beeps at startup, possibly overheating

A7N8X Deluxe mobo, I'm getting long beeps during start up, that go until Windows is fully loaded, then stop and my computer (not counting gaming, has not been stress tested) runs fine. Best fit in the BIOS beep codes taken from the manual is:

"Hi beeps when system is working - CPU overheated; system running at a lower frequency."

The thing is, it doesn't happen after bootup. Right-clicking My Computer and bringing up Properties shows I have a 2800+ running at 2.08Ghz and 1 gig of RAM...Everything where it should been.

Best guesses?

Download SpeedFan and check your temps, anything over 55-60c is too hot. Check that and also check RAM, beeping sounds at startup are commonly associated with faulty RAM but if Windows loads then it may not be the RAM.
