Beeping sound while copying large amount of files in Windows XP?

Every now and again while copying lager volume of files taking multiple hours in Windows XP my computer will make a quick high beep sound. Its not over the speakers or the HDD, but from the motherboard. My old mother board did not do this, a MSI K8N-Neo4, my current mother board is a A8N-SLI Deluxe (alread RMAed once). I don't know if its OS related or not?

If its coming from the mobo then it would be the speaker from the mobo. My first thought was maybe its beeping because the chipset is getting to hot with all the file transfers.
