I am putting together a new pc and i just turned on the power and i get a continous beep and an ornange light goes on on my Mb. I only have a vid card connected the Cpu, and my HD and CD. They are all connected correctly what else could cause this problem.
 
if u had memory on the board i think the sound wouuld stop beeping :D

O yea a heatsink and fan would help also

Are there any diagnostic LEDs on your board. if so refer to you manual
 
a one gig stick or 2 X 512?

try one stick at a time.

does your video card require its own power? if so plug it in.
