Beeping on IC7-Max3

Hi

Right, about 3 weeks ago this beeping started, and it's driving me nuts. I'm using the onboard sound on my IC7-Max3 until I can afford either an EMU 1212M or M-Audio 1010-LT. Basically, as soon as I reach the windows loading screen, this 2 tone beeping starts (daa-doo-daa-doo). I've tried rolling back and reinstalling the sound drivers to no avail. All I can think that may have caused this is that I snapped the case/motherboard buzzer off by accident at a similar time to when this started.

Specs of the rest of my sound gear FYI: ALC650 AC'97 codec (on motherboard), NAD 3020, JBL MR25s, Tannoy Stratfords, cheapass cables all round. I'm only using the two stereo channels.

Any input appreciated :)
 
First thing I would check is the AbitEQ if you have it installed. Or any other mobo monitor you have. Could be warning you of high temp, or fans spinning to slowly,
 
OK I FIXED IT :D

Went into the BIOS and tweaked all the thermal throttling/warning stuff to my liking, and that did it. I think it was warning me that either the CPU or OTES fan was off. Thanks for your help!
