SO I have a 140$ GC for Bestbuy, want to buy a monitor. 22+"
Don't want to spend more than 360 my own money. so 500 total max.
How is this on Gateway FH2400? heard some good things.
Forgot to mention, I'll be buying 4850/70 given pricing in next 2 weeks,

I just picked one of these up yesterday from BB.

I've usually only purchased IPS panels such as dell's 2007wfp ultrasharp, which I really liked, I just needed more screen real estate.

That being said, the reviews on this monitor are good..but people have reported issues such as backlight bleeding among other things. I didn't experience any defects.

Once I set it up...out of the box it looked horrible and took a good hour or 2 or so to calibrate. Before calibration, colors were over saturated and the brightness was way too high. There was also a noticable green push on more brown tones. Once calibrated, it looks really quite nice and I'm very happy with the overall quality after calibration...just make sure you are looking at this thing dead on because the color does shift when looking at it from just a few inches away from where you might normally sit.

Cheers!

Went to the store with the full intention of getting a 24". Then I realized the cost effectiveness just isn't worth it. Bought a 22" Westinghouse. Looked at everything they had and price/look, this was the best. Only issue once I got it home was backlight bleeding on black screens in 2 areas. Dunno if I should return it for another or not. Not an issue really

But holy shit, goign from a 19" to this is like night and day! Glad I did it. Also picked up a 4850 to try out, ran some TF2 and looks good.
