RP-452X2 Dual 5.25in Reservoir VS Swiftech Maelstrom

which one is better? also which pumps should i get? feel free to suggest something better

watercooling a radeon HD 6990 EK waterblock and a core i7 980x with heat killer rev 3.0 on a Silverstone TJ09

The maelstrom allows for a more powerful pump, but I don't know why you'd need a res that has dual pump options? I personally liked the XSPC dual bay res for the D5 Vario/MCP 655 more.

I was actually just in the same boat trying to decide and I ended up going with the Swiftech Maelstorm with a single pump (can always add second later). Mainly because everywhere I was reading the RP-452X2 was a bleeding nightmare and many people ran into issue's trying to make it bleed or taking several hours to complete bleeding after moving the case around even on its side.

It just so happens that the dual bays that i searched had dual pumps lol but i am liking that xspc dual bay too i might check that out thanks phantom taco

NP, I used to use that res and absolutely loved it, I like how it comes with both a black and aluminium faceplate, and it's pretty easy to install the pump. I'd definitely recommend it.
