Bay res

Whats with the shortage of 5 1/4 bay res's? I looked at all the sites I finds reputable and can not find a clear single 5 1/4 bay res anywhere. I know there are other res's out there but the 5 1/4 fits my new case build perfectly.

Well, it's not clear, but the CoolingWork Single Bay Reservoir at SidewinderComputers is pretty much the best one you can get for the price.

Just make sure you follow the instructions and use some Plumbers Goop (Plumbing Goop) on the barbs and DON'T use any sealant that contains acetic acid.

I just ordered a UV blue dual res from them, one of the screw holes are leaking, and I asked how to patch it so I wouldn't have to send it back, and they haven't got back to me, its been about 2 weeks now. Im just gotta put some silicone on a screw and screw it in, but Im kind of dissapointed, but no big deal, all the other stuff I got works .

Edit: I also enjoy shopping with Performance-PCS they are on my now short list of trusted pc-parts merchants.

I had one of those and it split along the seam where the barb went in...just a little, it didn't leak enough to damage anything, but I replaced it with an acrylic res that didn't use tapered barbs. I may have overtightened the barbs, so it may have been all my fault. Be aware of the possibility.

Great. I ordered one of those res' to replace my current res that I've had through several builds now. It definetley has some battle scars that I'm tired of looking at. Well hopefully your problem was user error and not manufacturing.
