I might just pick up BF4 base game for around $5 next time that's on sale.

Looks far from dead to me sir... 20 to 30K on the weekends, sure it isn't Dota, but I'll take that no problem!

Yeah, what? lol. It is still extremely active and according to the site that guy posted above, it seems to be on an overall upward trend on a lot of platforms. I play with friends all the time on PC and usually have to wait in a queue for most HC servers.
