Personally would prefer if all their resources and efforts were diverted to what matters.....the MP. BF3 was clearly not ready for release and could have done with a further 6 months of development and polishing.

I did. Don't think the deal is still live. GMG had BF3 + Premium for 30$. Since I already had BF3.. I sold the BF3 activation code on ebay for 24,99$ :cool:

Premium costed me 6$ if you remove the chunk paypal took :p
 
Wish there was some kind of chat in a PUG coop. I'm stuck on the sneaking sniping bus mission cause the guy I partner with doesn't know what to do...

I heard it comes with a BF3+Premium and head start code, not 3 codes. Can anyone confirm it comes with 3 codes?
 
Those MOFOS!!! I was in and logged out and i cant get back in. 1 rocket kill away from getting a new weapon unlock.
 
I see that there's a special out for premium $30, anyone know of a better deal?

I assume the spawns / flag are at the main base? Why (DICE) not just move it to a base slightly inwards, 100yrds or so, no spawns. That way people can't just spawn on the flag if they see it gets taken. It'd allow you to clear out defenses as a team without having immediate reinforcements spawning all around you.

Defense has always been important to CTF, so people camping their own flag shouldn't be considered bad. It's part of the gametype.

What happens now though, is not camping and protecting your own base but instead the other team simply camping your spawn (which is now limited to a smaller area) resulting in you just spawning.. moving 5ft and then being shot.

In a 64 man server. It is bad. Small like 12v12 or less is much better. Fun to scrim 8v8.
 
Anyone else getting DirectX errors with End Game? I'm wondering if it has to do with SweetFX. I go anywhere from a few minutes to an hour and DX throws a driver error.
 
Off topic, but does anyone have tips on getting the unlocks for the attack chopper? maybe just find a good pilot and gun for them?

Cap flags with attack chopper or be a gunner with a good pilot, that is how I got everything unlocked. I unlocked pretty much everything for the jets in the jump jets in B2K capping flags. I really wish they would have them in more maps in BF3, I love being in a dog fight and stopping in mid air and shooting the plane that was chasing me.
 
Played a few rounds after months of not playing and got my first melee ribbon outside of a knife server in almost two years of playing. *sigh* too much farcry, need to get rid of the knifing habit.

Just noticed in the battlelog browser under multiplayer select matches and I get a pop up of sorts asking if I know my credit score? Awesome! Can I play that EA? Jesus.
 
Does anyone use the PKA-S (HOLO)? Seems most everyone either uses the KOBRA, REFLEX or the US Holographic. Why is that? I really like using the PKA-S!
 
Just reinstalled this after a year to shoot some stuff and test an overclock. I never got very far, rank 9 I believe and am quite a noob. Any good server recommendations? I also applied for the platoons and was curious as to why there are 2.
 
Any Close Quarters map is a good map for getting promoted. Or in general, any TDM. You can get 4-6k a game fairly easy.
 
yeah I go for Ziba tower 48 players if I want some fast quick rank up action for an unlock.

Really digging the End Game expansion -- for the original price of 60 dollars + 45 -- I gotta say I've gotten my monies worth.

Will I buy into the BF4 stuff? remains to be seen, it's not getting pre-ordered, I can tell you that much.
 
Been getting the shit shot out of me this evening, an even mix between frustration and fun. Wish I knew more people that played as I think coms would make this quite a bit more fun for me.
 
Been playing a decent amount of CTF on a server with instant vehicle respawns. Trying to get time in as a chopper pilot and I'm starting to feel a lot better about it. Life sucks when you can't get someone to sit in the scout chopper with you and repair, or get a gunner in the Attack Chopper.
 
Battlelog ID is same as here, coffaholic. Just had a few good rounds of TDM, still ended up with a -KD ratio but had fun doing it, lol
 
Never really cared for bf series.
My son 2500k never liked playing on my systems 920/3770 says turn off Hyper threading.
Thats the only difference in our puters. I had argued with him for years. He is stupid I have the best gear I must be right. We turned the affinity down to 4 cores in Task manager. Still felt "wrong"
Then he turns off HT in bios reboots and What the fuck over! Whole different systen in BF3. I was wrong all these years. I always felt people saw me first and I was a little behind.
Now, I have magically become better. COD never acted like that.
BF# is a different beast now.
I get more kills and make more points and just enjoy the godamned game more.
Try it guys. It will change your enjoyment level.
 
I've heard the same thing about HT and BF3 since the launch of, I turn it off from time to time. I wish there was a way to toggle it in the OS or limit a program from using it. Generally speaking HT is great for other stuff I do, but gaming its a real toss up, most newer games aren't bugged by it, but the Battlefield series (atleast BadCo2 and BF3).
