well after i install the new patch after bf2 install bf2 won't load

patch installed is 1.4

do i nee all patches
 
Make sure its not the incremental patch. You should have the full one, which is around 530mb
 
it is the full patch and im using daeman tools or 5star game copy to start the gamebecause te disks are my friends disks because i broke mine steped on it

I had the same problem. I only play BF2 with friends in LAN mode (not EA servers), I don't own the game myself, I installed it, using my friend's original copy, plus a NO-DVD crack.
When I installed patch 1.4, the game simply wouldn't start. I had to download another NO-DVD crack and then it worked.

Buy a legit copy.
