I own a dell inspiron 4150. Had it for two years but now the battery doesn't last me more than 30 minutes. I plan to buy a new battery. What I want to know is what can i do to prevent a battery from dying so quickly? I also own a dell latitude D600.. Should I pull out the battery when i have it plugged in?

batteries die, its what they do, its better to keep a li-ion charged full at all times if possible, if you drain it to less than 1v it will probably never hold a charge again
