Battery life at different resolutions???

I noticed that 720x480 and 320x240 both have the same size pretty much, when converted to mpeg4
but does the battery life take a hit at rendering an image at the higher resolution vs the lower resolution. im pretty sure at the small screen. the higher res. wouldnt be much more noticable then the 320x240.

Wrong division, but higher bitrate=more required processing=less battery life. (also less data fits in the buffer)

same bitrate... 512kbps.. just different resolution, the 320x240 had an output that was slightly bigger, on the same exact file


and what division should this be in, i didnt see anything for mp3 players, and techincally this is computer audio...
