I dont think it is able to activate through steam. But dont quote me because I actually haven't installed it. I would probably try google-ing it. I guess its for those who are interested in playing the game offline but I dont think Batman needs online

If you got the game through Nvidia Video Cards, it'll be a Steam code, if you got it through SSD (Samsung), then it won't activate.
