I am trying to set up a batch file with a menu. i have the menu listed, and am using the choice command. one option takes you to a second menu with a second choice command. for some reason, it is not taking the second input. it just skips over and doesn't seem to save the option anywhere.

so i have 2 questions.

is there a way to unload the first choice command "saved"?
is there a another command to use besides choice? the reason we went with choice is because it has the timeout value and can default to a certain value.

Thanks,
Mag

Could you please clarifty what you mean by this?

Also keep in mind that the CHOICE command is not supported in NT based operating systems.

we actually just got a work around going with the set command.

i had heard that CHOICE is not supported in NT, but when we were working on the batch file in the Windows 7 RC, the CHOICE command is a valid and working command.
